This project focused on raising awareness for fast fashion, an ever-growing concern for our environment. The project includes a lookbook of charity shop finds printed on seed paper that can then be planted to grow wild flowers as well as a fabric poster that can be used to grow mushrooms which are a tool used for clearing toxins from the Earth.

When unfolded the publication is A1, but can be folded down to A6 - pocket size - which keeps it compact and easily transportable.

Included a self-shot photoshoot, were the imagery was printed, scratched into, drawn on, and then rescanned to create layers of texture. These are a select few of the intense imagery that was hand bound into a publication, and then torn apart to become an artefact.I shed my skin.

Based on a exhibition ran by G.F Smith and soundtracked by Father, the briefing was to create the album artwork, visually interpreting the range of soundscapes. The compositions enraptured me in their meditative beauty, evoking a memory of sunlight beams coming through trees. I visualised the flickering beams of light in a minimal, pointillistic way. The pastel side of the Colorplan conveyed this relaxed and organic nature of the album best. Elements of my own photography act as beaming memories.

Raw Britannia is a film festival that explores the genre of British Social Realism. The films tackle hard hitting topics such as race, politics, immigration etc. but are mixed between storylines of humility and pure British cheek. The films primarily cover stories of working class Britain and the evolution of the social realism genre from kitchen sink dramas, focusing on the British working class, to the broader category of the marginalised.

“Colour represents an unfolding story of creative possibility” - G.F SMITH. This was the notion that sparked our concept for our design. Our concept is to portray the ‘unfolding story’ that colour represents, which we did by capturing the physical G.F SMITH Colorplan paper in motion, folding and overlapping to convey the blending of colour and sound.
