THE SHOW

THIS IS THE PLACE was the BA Graphic Design degree show at the Manchester School of Art for the class of 2024. 

The in-person show began with a private view on Friday 14th June 2024, and was open to the public every day until the 22nd of June.

THIS IS THE PLACE was located on the second floor of the Benzie building, now renamed as the Lowry building, part of the Manchester School of Art.

This website exists as a permanent record of our course's incredible students and their achievements.

Meet the Future

Meet the Future was Manchester School of Art's 2024 degree show, of which THIS IS THE PLACE was a part. It was located across the Benzie, Chatham, Grosvenor West, Righton, and SODA buildings. Work from all the courses and their students can be found afterwards on the MSoA website.

About the show

THIS IS THE PLACE that has nurtured us for the past three years, a place that has allowed us to play, experiment and grow.

THIS IS THE PLACE we found a home. A community of like-minded people with a creative passion in the heart of Manchester.

THIS IS THE PLACE we went on a journey of discovery together. One that was not always easy.

The concept and identity for the show was been designed by Sophia, Laura & Bradley, with help from across the course. We want thank everyone for all their hard work and support over the years.

2025 show

The 2025 degree show will open this June in the Lowry building. The BA Graphic Design class of 2025 will be curating and branding their own show, Make Some Noise.
