Annie Pugsley, working under their alias Gap Toof, is a predominantly brand/identity based designer. Their work is concept-driven and spans across both digital and analogue mediums, encompassing topics from knife crime and sustainability to British culture and football. Their left-of-field solutions appear as compelling visuals that aim to create value for brands.

Raw Britannia is a film festival that explores the genre of British Social Realism. The films tackle hard hitting topics such as race, politics, immigration etc. but are mixed between storylines of humility and pure British cheek. The films primarily cover stories of working class Britain and the evolution of the social realism genre from kitchen sink dramas, focusing on the British working class, to the broader category of the marginalised.
The concept behind my publication was to give the audience an insight into how class is represented within British Film. Throughout the publication there are die-cut windows giving the reader a sneak peak into the next page. I wanted to make the audience make a judgement of each image before revealing it’s greater context in order to subvert expectations and stereotypes of what class looks like.

The Greater Goal is a campaign to engage football fans in sustainable practices on match-days and beyond; harnessing their collective power to increase awareness for nature preservation and biodiversity.
Melting Point is a wax museum designed to exist in a future in which the world’s natural beauty has been lost to climate change.Wax would be used to replicate and therefore preserve and document materials and objects lost to the crisis.The idea behind the museum is to provide customers with a snapshot of how the world used to look like in the past in a totally immersive experience.

Threaded together is a digital service that connects people affected by the loss of someone to knife crime. The aim of the service is to decrease isolation for people experiencing this unique type of grief. People are automatched with other users who are further along in their grief and are encouraged to chat, video call and attend events together.
